Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify new environment, personal relationship, responsibility and the stress level when students majoring in prosthodontia perform clinical training, heighten the satisfaction level with the clinical training and ultimately lead to a successful clinical training.
For 51 students majoring in prosthodontia at C. Health University, Mean and Standard Deviation of each stress, T-test according to sex, grade and age, ANOVA for the satisfaction level with clinical training were performed, And through Pearson¢¥s Correlation Analysis, whether there is linear correlation between satisfaction level with clinical training and stresses was examined. The significant level of all analysis was a=.95 and credibility of this study was Cronbach¢¥s Alpha(a )=.6807.
1) Out of stresses due to clinical training, the stress with the highest level was the one in the case of dental performance(3.37.53), And then in order of responsibility (2.97 .65), environment(2.92=x.53) and personal relations (2.06 53).
2) If looking into them separately, the case causing the highest level of stress was when they feel they are lack of knowledge and technique on dental technique(3.63.72). And then the level order of stress were when making mistakes in the case of dental performance(3.59.92), in the unexperienced new environment(3.49.88), when making out clinical training diary(3.45 1.06), and when they feel their roles are ambiguous (3.33 .89).
3) Each stress cause showed a statistically significant difference in role depending on grade(p<.05), dental performance depending on age(p<.05), environment(p<.01) and role(p<.05) depending on the satisfied level with clinical training, respectively.
4) The satisfied level with clinical training was about average 3.67.59, showing a little bit satisfaction, and it showed a slight difference depending on sex(p<.05).
